Ti Martin

In 1986, Ti returned to New Orleans and started a food products company called Creole Cravings. One of the company's products, Creole Mayonnaise, won a National New Products contest. The line of products eventually included soups, seasonings and condiments. Creole Cravings was later sold to McCormick.

Ti then teamed up with her cousins, Brad Brennan and Dick Brennan, Jr. to open Palace Café in March 1991. This successful branch of the Family of Restaurants serves New Orleans' finest seafood in classic and creative combinations in a bustling grand cafe. Palace Café was chosen by Esquire magazine as one of the top new restaurants in America in 1991. Palace Café has continued to receive local and national kudos as it has been a major part of the rebirth of New Orleans' famous Canal Street.

Since her return to New Orleans, Ti has been involved in an array of civic activities. Board Member Young Leadership Council, past Board Member Greater New Orleans Metropolitan and Convention Bureau, past Board Member Friends of City Park, Advisory Board Member Tennessee Williams Literary festival, Secretary/Treasurer for Canal 2000, member Retail Initiatives Committee of the Downtown Development District.

Presently, Ti's main civic focus is as co-leader of a YLC initiated project called, Proud To Call It Home. This project was launched in May of 1994 and involved sixteen months of advance planning. Over $500,000 has been raised so far toward New Orleans' first ever long term, well thought out, self image campaign. New Orleans' Proud To Call It Home has become part of the local lingo.
